Golden Turmeric Hummus


Golden Life adds a lovely warm taste to this traditional hummus recipe. If the paste still feels a little thick after blitzing, add a bit of water to loosen.


  • 1 level tsp Golden Life Turmeric Blend
  • 400g tin chickpeas
  • 1 small clove of garlic, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 lemon
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt for seasoning

  1. Drain the chickpeas and place into a food processor
  2. Add the garlic, tahini, olive oil and a generous squeeze of lemon juice to the food processor
  3. Season with sea salt and blitz until almost smooth
  4. Add the Golden Life Turmeric Blend and blitz again until thoroughly mixed and smooth
  5. Season with a little extra lemon if you need, then serve
