Golden Turmeric Hummus
TIP
Golden Life adds a lovely warm taste to this traditional hummus recipe. If the paste still feels a little thick after blitzing, add a bit of water to loosen.
SERVES 4-8
- 1 level tsp Golden Life Turmeric Blend
- 400g tin chickpeas
- 1 small clove of garlic, peeled
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1 lemon
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt for seasoning
- Drain the chickpeas and place into a food processor
- Add the garlic, tahini, olive oil and a generous squeeze of lemon juice to the food processor
- Season with sea salt and blitz until almost smooth
- Add the Golden Life Turmeric Blend and blitz again until thoroughly mixed and smooth
- Season with a little extra lemon if you need, then serve
